What Makes A Sandwich Bold?
To me, doing something a little out of the ordinary can take a sandwich from OK to awesome! All it takes to make a sandwich bold is to use new, fun ingredient, an awesome sauce, or present it in a new way. Some of my suggestions would include using fresh herbs (they pack a flavorful punch), toasting your bread, using a panini press, trying a new flavor combo like a new cheese, fruit, or veggie, or even using your imagination to create an appealing visual presentation. Hold those thoughts because in a moment I’m going to share my own “Bold” sandwich recipe!

I used the Italian Style Herb Turkey Breast is make my version of a bold sandwich. Here is the recipe!
Spinach, Apple, Turkey Sandwich With Balsamic Mayo:
I started with the Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh BOLD Italian Style Herb Turkey Breast and I thought about what would be fun flavor combos. I decided spinach and apple would be great contrasting flavors and then I wondered how to kick it up one more notch and I thought of balsamic vinegar which I love on a spinach salad. I decided to mix the balsamic into my mayo so that it would create a smooth sauce that wouldn’t be soggy on the sandwich. I think it turned out fabulous. The Italian Style Herb Turkey Breast is encrusted with herbs around the edges and it was delicious with the spinach and apple. The balsamic mayo was so good that I could eat it straight by itself and I don’t even normally like mayo all that much.
