Vitacost Whole Food Once Daily Multi-Vitamin and Raw Whole Food B Complex

I love eating healthy but I still believe in supplementing my diet with vitamins.  I won’t say that I remember to do so every single day, but I do try!  Why take vitamins?  Well to me, I feel like I just don’t always get the recommended 5 to 7 servings of fresh fruits and vegetables a day! Plus, I know that there is a clear link between vitamin deficiencies many of our most common diseases.  I take a whole food supplement to make sure I get needed vitamins in the right quantities.

Vitacost Whole Food Once Daily Multi-Vitamin Review:

I was happy to get to review the Vitacost Whole Food Once Daily Multi-Vitamin.  The name itself said good things to me as I believe whole food is most natural and easily absorbed by the body.  But wait, there’s more to love!  Vitacost Whole Food supplements feature organic, non-GMO ingredients and nutrients from raw, whole foods and herbs. Plus they are 100% vegetarian!  I don’t want to sound like I am gushing but:

  • Free of artificial colors, flavors and preservatives
  • No chemical fillers, binders or stearates
  • Labels printed on recycled paper with water-based ink
  • 22 vitamins and minerals, including folate, iron, B12 and plant-based calcium
  • Stress/Energy Support Blend‡ with organic maca, chamomile and schisandra
  • Immune Support Blend‡ with organic elderberry, eleuthero and astralagus
  • Mixed carotenoids, organic ginger and organic turmeric

Vitacost Whole Food Daily Multi-Vitamins are easy to take- just one a day!  They are also specialized into a Men’s and a Women’s variety so that they can be formulated to meet the specific nutritional needs of each sex.

Vitacost Raw Whole Food B-Complex Review:

I try to fix meat about 3 or 4 nights a week.  If you are not a big meat eater like me, then you could sure use a Vitamin B supplement (since a primary source of Vitamin B is meat) because suboptimal levels of vitamins B-6 and B-12 are a risk factor for cardiovascular disease and breast cancer.  Once again, I dig this supplement because it is whole foods (contains stuff like Organic Strawberry, Organic Cherry, Organic Blackberry, Organic Blueberry and Organic Raspberry) and because it features organic, non-GMO ingredients.  I only recently discovered that I may need vitamin B supplements and let me tell you I feel a difference in my energy levels when I take this- a real boost!

Of course, the products I mentioned are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease and you should always consult with your health care provider about any health concerns!

Vitacost Coupon:

At Vitacost, when you refer a friend, you both get a Vitacost discount coupon for $10 off!  Sweet, huh?

I was provided with the whole food supplements in the hopes that I would share my honest opinions.  I received no monetary compensation and the opinions expressed are my own.
