•2 cups yellow cornmeal
•1 cup flour
•½ teaspoon salt
•1 cup butter or margarine

1. In a medium-size bowl, place cornmeal, flour and salt; stir to combine. In a large bowl, beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until it becomes fluffy. Stir in cornmeal mixture and blend.
