Wicked Witch Wiches Halloween Dessert Directions
- Add several drops of orange food coloring to frosting can and stir until completely blended. Adjust coloring as needed for a bright orange hue.
- Place roughly half of the frosting in a small Ziploc bag, pushing the frosting to one lower corner. Cut a small hole in that corner to create your own piping bag.

Witchy Finger Cookies
With an almond shortbread cookie, some slivered almonds, red icing and a few mini chocolate chips, you can make some pretty impressive cookies that ACTUALLY look like fingers. And it’s not hard. I won’t lie… it’s somewhat time consuming, so if you’re looking for a quickie… check one of the other ideas. Gross-Out Intestines Pastry
Wow. Yeah. These are intense looking. I tried it and it came out amazing and yummy. The idea came from the WannaBite website, who says that even some of the adults wouldn’t take a bite… which I could see. I am 100 percent making this Creepy Gross Halloween Recipe again for Halloween night.
It is actually really simple with just four ingredients: sheet of puff pastry (thawed), 1 egg (for egg wash),1 cup of chocolate chips (to roll inside the pastry), and 1 cup of cherry or raspberry pie filling (for a “bloody” look).
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface until it’s about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut the pastry into long strips, about 1 inch wide.
- Drop a thin line of chocolate chips along the center of each strip.
- Fold the edges of each strip over the filling and pinch to seal, forming a filled tube.
- Arrange the filled pastry tubes on the prepared baking sheet in a winding, intestine-like pattern. Be creative with the twists and turns to make it look realistic.
- Brush the pastry with egg wash to give it a nice golden color when baked.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed up.
- Let the pastry cool slightly before serving. The pie filling can be spread around the pastry for a gruesome effect, perfect for Halloween!
Eyeball Pizza
This is an easy and fun one for any family. A quick throw together. Take any pizza (sure, you could make your own, but you could also just buy a plain frozen pizza), then get some salami, fresh mozzarella, slice it up, toss a few on top, and include a black olive slice.
Easy-peasy, fun, and the silly type of gross that still holds a bit of an ICK factor.

Bananas Ghosts
Looking for healthy because you’re overloaded on sugar? Check this out:
Yeah… bananas with tiny chocolate chips for eyes/mouth (or just eyes) And yeah, you could us raisins, but come on… a little more chocolate won’t hurt! Personally, I sliced them in half length-wise, stuck a popsicle stick in the bottom, and popped them in the freezer! Yum!
And then clementine oranges with a tiny piece of celery as a pumpkin stem. I want to make those darn things every day they’re so cute.
Not scary folks. Even the ghosts, barely spooky. But adorable, simple and creative enough to make this list anyway.
