Recently, I have been trying to change my lifestyle and eating habits for the better with gradual success. I have never been much of a cook but now that I know how important home cooking is for maintaining a healthier diet, I feel I must learn! Luckily, I have found that there are many “lifestyle blogs” that have people like me in mind. They list healthy recipes as well as easy, effective exercise plans. This is a round up post sharing a 5 day healthy meal plan for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It makes eating healthy easy!

5 Day Healthy Meal Plans

5 Day Healthy Meal Plan:

While browsing through the various helpful articles on different blogs, I came across this delicious Spicy Hummus Wrap recipe from Lauren Conrad. I immediately went out and bought the ingredients to make lunch that day and was pleased with the results and the cost efficiency! My bill for the day was about $15 and I have ingredients left over to make 5 more wraps. Lovely!

Inspired by this small success, I decided to make my own simple meal plan for 5 days with recipes that you can mix and match for all meals. Pick and choose a couple of recipes from the list.

It’s possible that this is too hefty a load of ingredients for one shopping trip, so I encourage you to take a look at the list of ingredients in each recipe and see which ones you already own the most of and start there! Some recurring ingredients among the recipes will be bananas, pineapple, avocado, carrots, olive oil, arugula, grapefruit, pesto, and chicken breast. And remember, some meals, you can just eat leftovers if you prefer less preparation and cooking!

Okay, let’s get started!

Pick one recipe from each category for each day!
