Review Of Bunk Bed With Desk For Girl

My daughter has a small room but it felt tiny before we got her a new bunk bed with desk. There were two dressers, a desk, and a single bed and they were all separate. Now she has all the same things plus two bookshelves and it takes up less space and makes the room feel so much bigger. Adding storage and utility while making a room feel bigger is pretty much a huge win so I thought I would share my bunk bed with desk for girl review with you here.

Bunk Bed With Desk- A Real Space Saver For My Daughter’s Tiny Room

loft bed with desk

This all started when my husband mentioned loft bunk beds in a passing conversation over the summer. Well the idea lodged in my mind and then I few months later I ran across a website called Custom Kids Furniture. I took a look and I loved all the amazing bunk bed choices so I called my daughter over and we spent some time loving all the designs together until we found the perfect bunk bed with desk to maximize the space in her room. I loved the bed so much I purchased it and here is my affiliate link so you get the same bed for your child and make the most of your space.

That is right. This amazing loft bed with desk also has a dresser and bookcase and really it is sort of two bookcases because there is a small one in the desk area. Plus there is a whole extra space under the bed that can be used as a private little reading nook or for even more storage.

Assembly of Loft Bed With Desk in Wood

The loft bed materials are wood/ pine and the finish is white which makes it great for a girl’s room. The loft bed with desk had free shipping and arrived at my door in three flat boxes.

My husband and daughter did all the assembly together, which I just loved seeing.  Nothing cuter than watching your husband teach your child a skill and seeing them build something together! Swoon:)

After we assembled the new loft bed with desk, we removed the old desk. That opened up so much space when you walk into her room because now you don’t feel like there you are boxed in at the entrance.

Before the loft bed, her old desk and dresser were clutter themselves! We no longer need them in the room and her stuff is organizined onto the book shelves or stowed under the bed.

Loft Bed Storage And Organization Features

There really is untold amounts of extra storage room created by the new bed being elevated and providing all that open space underneath.  So far we haven’t filled it up too much. However, we did stick her extra chinchilla cage and supplies under there since she only uses them once a week for dust bath time.  She is experimenting with using it as a private reading nook too!

The bookshelves are fantastic.  She arranged some of her favorite books and on the desk book shelves she arranged some of her favorite trinkets.  Her old desk didn’t have all the extra shelf space so she is loving being able to display her things and still have room to work on her desk.

The desk itself if pretty super cool too because it can be pushed under the bed if she wants to have extra floor space in her room for activities or kept out for study.  You just pull it and it slides out or push it and it slides under. She finds the desk to be perfect for doing her homework. It is also great for keeping a few trinkets that she loves like her enormous globe.

Then she also has a new dresser so she can organize her clothes better.  There are 4 nice sized drawers.  We are so happy with all the extra storage.

This loft bed with desk really does make her room feel bigger, more functional, and prettier. We love her new space.
