To make energizing essential oil blends, I have selected three essential oils known for their uplifting qualities. According to Diffuser World, peppermint essential oil is “is energizing with a penetrating, minty aroma. It helps to relieve fatigue and muscle pain”. Young Living points out that, “Lime essential oil uplifts the senses with its lively, refreshing, citrus aroma”. Rosemary is also known for its energizing qualities.
As Healthline says, “Rosemary oil is commonly used for mental strain and fatigue in folk medicine. When 20 healthy young adults inhaled rosemary oil, they reported feeling about 30% more mentally refreshed and about 25% less drowsy compared to smelling a placebo oil.”

To make your energizing essential oil roller blend, grab your roller bottle and gently pop the roller ball off of the top. Next, take your essential oils and slowly drop them into your bottle. Here are the ratios: Lime Essential Oil- 5 drops, Peppermint Essential Oil- 10 drops and Rosemary Essential Oil- 8 drops. Once you have added all of your essential oils, you are going to slowly fill the rest of your bottle up with sweet almond oil which is great for your skin. Adding a carrier oil like sweet almond oil will help your essential oils carry further on your skin and they will last longer when slightly diluted.
Once all of our oils are added, pop the roller top back on your bottle, give a gently shake and roll on forehead, bridge of nose and/or wrists for a burst of refreshment and energy!
**Be careful not to get in eyes. The peppermint essential oil will burn. If eyes come in contact with any mint oil, grab a cold cloth and press (don’t rub) on eyes until burning subsides.
