Easy Jam Sandwich Cookies Recipe- also know as NILLA Jamwiches
Oh what an absolutely tasty treat and they are so easy to make! I seriously couldn’t believe just how good these easy jam sandwich cookies are. My son likes NILLA Jamwiches even better than chocolate chip cookies and I just might as well. Plus, they are way more festive and you can use any color sprinkles to customize them. This jam sandwich cookie recipe is the best tasting, easiest recipe ever!
The NILLA wafers make this recipe so easy and there are so many other ways to use the leftover wafers! This recipe makes 12 cookies which is perfect for a family but for a party you may want to double it or triple it.
Ingredients:
- 24 NILLA Wafers
- 2 Tbsp. seedless raspberry jam (or strawberry jam)
- ¼ cup chocolate spread
- 1 Tbsp. multi-colored sprinkles
How to make easy jam sandwich cookies with NILLA Wafers
- Spread flat sides of 12 wafers with about 1 teaspoon of jam. Cover raspberry filling with remaining wafers (pressing top cookie flat side down) to make a sandwich.
- Microwave chocolate spread in microwavable bowl on high for 25 to 30 seconds until heated through. (You can use store bought if you like or do what I did- 1/4 cup of chocolate chips with 1 tbsp of cream microwaved for 30 seconds and stirred).
- Now for the fun part. Dip cookie sandwiches, one at a time, halfway into melted chocolate and place on parchment paper covered baking cookie sheet. Top with sprinkles.
- Refrigerate 30 minutes or until chocolate coating is firm. Keep refrigerated.

Holiday Party Tips
I recently shared some great holiday party planning tips here along with an easy holiday appetizer recipe. So today, I wanted share a few tips for the holiday party itself.
–Hostess Gifts: It is always nice to bring a little something for the host and hostess- whether a delicious treat like these NILLA Jamwiches or an appetizer or a beverage to share. If you are the hostess or host, don’t forget to graciously thank the giver. Each act of kindness reminds the other that they are appreciated.
–Be Social: It’s a party, make sure to mingle and introduce yourself to people you don’t know. They will feel flattered that you made the effort and just never know what you may have in common. I was talking to a woman the other day and come to find out her grandmother was born right near a farm I grew up on! It is fun meeting new people.
–Be Positive: It is a party- be cheerful. Focus on the good stuff, you don’t want to be a dark cloud. Find that silver lining!
–Don’t Forget To Listen: There is no hard and fast rule but try to listen and talk equally. You want to give others a chance to speak and you want to help carry on the conversation.
–Have Fun: Don’t sweat the little details. And don’t make things hard for yourself. Pick easy dishes and have a care-free schedule. Enjoy the party!
