The Birds Eye® Steamfresh® Protein Blends Italian Style is a delicious blend of whole grains, lentils, spinach, broccoli, white beans, and sauce. Today I was running behind and I was starving and I was so happy to have the Birds Eye® Protein Blends Italian Style on hand because it cooks up in about 5 minutes. I just put the frozen bag directly into the microwave for 5.5 minutes and then I let it cool for 1 minute. I dished it out into a bowl and served it with a slice of bread. It could not have been easier and it tasted great. My 10 year old daughter and I loved it. She said she really like the garlic parmesan sauce and so did I. She said, “I could eat this forever.” Wow! I wasn’t expecting that but I was so happy to be able to whip up something healthy for us both in just about 5 minutes and it is such a great price.
