Every week is a new menu so you never get stuck in a food rut. There is healthy meal for each night of the week along with a a new “steady meal” option each week (an alternative to the regular dinners). You can sign up for a reminder service at the bottom of the katiesplates.com page so you can check the menu for the week and order what you need. It is perfect for those nights when you have to pick up one kid from Chess Club and get the other kid over to flag football practice and you just don’t have time to cook much less think about what to cook!
Once you click on a meal, you will be able to choose the serving size as well as choose the paleo or gluten free dinner version.
Since each week is different, you probably won’t have these exact choices but here is what I got to give you an idea of the variety of food home delivery choices they offer:
The Weekly Breakfast: Chorizo Sweet Potato Frittata with Caramelized Onions
Very handy to have in my fridge so that anyone could have a fast, warm meal before breakfast or school. The sausage sweet potato combination (salty and sweet) was very tasty.
The Steady Meal: Buffalo Chicken Casserole with Green Beans
This one was a favorite with my husband and son who love spicy things. I also loved using the leftovers to make buffalo chicken nachos!
Tuesday Dinner: Roman-Style Chicken with Baked Herb Brown or Cauliflower Rice & Grill Roasted Vegetables with Pine Nut Pesto
This was my daughter’s absolute favorite. She just loved the chicken and the brown rice and veggies and so did I.
Wednesday Dinner: Asian Orange Chicken over Jasmine or Cauliflower Rice and Sweet & Sour Roasted Brussels Sprouts w/ Cashews
This was another hit and the sweetness of the orange chicken contrasted nicely with the slight bitterness of the Brussels sprouts.
Thursday Dinner: Mediterranean Salmon w/ a Roasted Red Pepper Vinaigrette, Arugula Salad w/ Olives, Feta, & Dill, and Quinoa w/ Roasted Red Peppers & Tomatoes
This was my personal favorite- so light and yet very full of flavor.
Friday Dinner: Pork Tenderloin w/ Dijon Marsala Sauce, Creamy Asparagus Risotto (or Cauliflower), and Maple Glazed Autumn Vegetables
We all loved the perfectly cooked tenderloin and delicious sauce with the perfectly roasted veggies.
Katie’s Plates healthy meal delivery service was so convenient and so good. I loved not worrying about what to cook, when to shop for it, or when to make it. Nothing beats the ease of family meals delivered!
