Printable Tic Tac Toe Board
After the sheet is printed, cut each individual Tic Tac Toe board out.
Separate your colored candy into different piles. Each player should have a single color. If you are giving this away as a gift for a school party you can fill the snack bags with the colored candy and tape or staple them to the St Patrick’s Day Tic Tac Toe board. If you’re just playing for fun at home pile the candy near each player’s board.
Play this game of Tic Tac Toe as you normally would but substitute colors in place of the x’s and o’s. Winner takes all the candy from that board!
How To Play Tic Tac Toe
This simple classic game is for 2 players. The goal is to be the first player to get three of your color markers in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally).
- Players take turns: On each turn, a player places their mark (or color) in an empty cell in the grid.
- Winning the game: The first player to get three of their marks in a row (either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) wins the game.
- Ending in a draw: If all nine cells are filled and no player has three marks in a row, the game is a draw.
Strategy Hint: The center square is the most strategic spot on the board. Occupying the center can provide more opportunities for creating a row of three.
