Easy St. Patrick’s Day Treats To Make: Chocolate Dipped Oreos

Are you looking for a festive, easy St. Patrick’s Day treats?  We’ve got just the ticket! These St. Patrick’s Day Chocolate Dipped Oreos are delicious and always a favorite.  They are easy enough to make that the kids will have a great time helping!

Easy St. Patrick’s Day Treats Tutorial- How To Make Chocolate Dipped Oreos

Ingredients:

  • Oreo Cookies – if you can find green stuffed, even better
  • White Candy Melt – or white chocolate
  • Green and gold sprinkles
  • Wax paper or parchment paper

How To Make Easy St. Patrick’s Day Treats:

Heat the candy melt in the microwave for 30 seconds.  Stir and repeat heating until the candy is completely melted and smooth.

Use a spoon to carefully spread the white chocolate or candy melt onto only half of the cookie.  You’ll want to work only one or 2 cookies to a time so the chocolate doesn’t harden too fast.

Place the half dipped cookie onto a piece of wax or parchment paper.

Sprinkle the melted chocolate with gold and green sprinkles.  Leave them on the parchment paper until the chocolate has become hard again.  And that is how you make chocolate dipped Oreos- so easy!

You can package these special little treats in individual treat bags or even put them on paper lollipop sticks if you’d like!  You can fill a black pot with these easy St. Patrick’s Day treats for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.  It would make a cute centerpiece and be perfect for a St.Patrick’s day party as would these cute St. Patrick’s day tic-tac-toe printables.

Think about making these easy treats for different holidays or occasions using different colors of candy melt or different sprinkles.  They would make great treats for bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, Spring, Fall, and really any time!
