Easy Family Meal Idea: Michael Angelo’s® Chicken Parmigiana With A Side of Mixed Greens And Garlic Bread
With the kids back in school and extracurricular activities in full swing, there are some nights that don’t allow a lot of time to make a family meal. Other times, my husband will have an evening engagement and I want to just keep the cooking simple when it is only the three of us eating without him. Whatever the case, Michael Angelo’s is a perfect solution for your busy life and gets you a wholesome and authentic Italian meal that your family will love.
You just need a few things for this easy family meal: a family size Michael Angelo’s® Chicken Parmigiana, mixed greens, and a loaf of fresh bread.
Easy Mixed Greens Salad And Garlic Bread
To make your side salad:
- Pour mixed greens in a medium sized mixing bowl.
- Top with a few apple or pear slices for a festive fall feel. (optional)
- Sprinkle with Parmesan.
- Toss with an Italian vinaigrette.
To make garlic bread:
- Cut baguette in half the long way. Or you can use sliced bread.
- Mix butter in a bowl with a couple of pressed garlic cloves and slather onto bread.
- Toast until edges begin to get golden.
There you have it. An easy family favorite meal, ready in just a short time with minimal preparation!

How To Make Chicken Parmigiana
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 400°F.
- REMOVE ENTRÉE FROM CARTON. PLACE TRAY ON COOKIE SHEET ON CENTER RACK OF OVEN (6-8″ FROM HEATING ELEMENT). COOK WITH FILM ON FOR 35-45 MINUTES.
- CAREFULLY REMOVE ENTRÉE FROM OVEN.
- REMOVE FILM AND LET STAND FOR 2 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING.
Or you can place tray in the microwave with film on and cook for 12-14 minutes. Then, remove film and allow to stand 2 minutes before serving.
So, while your oven is doing all the work, you can mix up an easy salad and some garlic bread.
