Samsung did provide a Samsung VU7000 Motion Sync Bagless Upright Vacuum with Fully Detachable Handheld in order to facilitate review. No monetary compensation was received and all opinions expressed are my own.
VU7000 Motion Sync Bagless Upright Vacuum Review
The Samsung UV7000 vacuum comes in 4 pieces. You just attach the cleaning tools to the rod, the rod to the detachable handheld vacuum, and the detachable handheld vac to the vacuum itself- all with simple push and click mechanism. Seriously, could not be easier.
I was intrigued by some of the unusual features that this Samsung vacuum has to offer to I was happy to be able to review it and check them out for myself! I am amazed at just how far vacuums have come since I started being responsible for cleaning! New vacuums make old ones look like dinosaurs and this Samsung UV7000 offers a unique combination of innovative design and powerful suction technology. I am going to go over some of the features that set this vacuum apart.
Detachable Handheld Vac
This is the only vacuum that I know of with a fully Detachable Handheld Vac! At first, I wasn’t sure what to make of this feature. It is one of those features that is so new you have to try it to form a full opinion. Well, I tried it and it is fabulous. Before I tried it, I worried that if the handheld vac was fully detachable, it may be heavy and awkward. However, Samsung ensured that the detachable handheld vac is not heavy and it is very easy to use. They did this by providing the detachable handheld with its own motor and its own dust bin. The built-in accessories ensure you don’t waste time looking for lost tools. The hose-less design and separate motor allows for more freedom of movement and makes it a god send for cleaning the stairs. With my old vacuum I had to lug the big heavy vacuum up the steps as I cleaned with the hose. Now, with my Samsung detachable handheld vac it is so quick and easy to clean stairs, clean the car, ceiling fans, door frames, and more. It is easy to remove and easy to plug back in with a simple click.
Cyclone Force Multi Technology
Now, let’s talk suction. That is what you really want if a vacuum. The Samsung UV7000 delivers with 9-cyclonic chambers of powerful suction that offer superior separation of dust and debris which means that suction and filters last longer.
Let’s talk filtration because air quality should be important to everyone and as a mother to a child with very sensitive skin and allergies, it is important to me! The Samsung UV700 is Certified Asthma & Allergy friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) and it provides up to 99.97& dust filtration. This Samsung vacuum cleaner features an advanced HEPA filtration system which is easy to remove and replace. It also features a durable and washable filter. While conventional bagless vacuum cleaners have a mesh type of foam filter, the Samsung Motion Sync vacuum cleaner features a sponge type foam filter which captures more dust. It can be easily washed.
Motion Sync Design™
How about the ease of use? How does it feel to vacuum with? Well, the Samsung UV700 has a unique Motion Sync Design™ so it can easily manuever around furniture and obstacles in the home. It has large, lightweight wheels that roll with minimum effort when in use. And as I mentioned earlier, it has the handy dandy detachable handheld vacuum for easily getting corners, wall edges, and other tight spots.
Multi Surface Cleaning
I have hardwoods, carpets, rugs, and tiles in my house so I appreciate that the Samsung UV7000 features a brush motor that can be turned on and off with ease so that it works well on any surface. You can just turn off the brush roll with the push of a button for scatter-free suction on hard floors.
This may seem like a minor detail to those of you who don’t have kids or pets but as a mother of just two, I know how cool looking tools disappear and I appreciate that the Samsung VU-F7000 vacuum cleaner has built in accessories. It includes a dusting and crevice accessories built into the handle so you can quickly switch to the best tool without having to detach it. Sometimes, it is the small things in life like not having to search for the tools when you want them!
I was talking to a girlfriend the other day and discovered she still empties her vacuum bag. I was mind blown. I mean thought of all that dust and gunk collecting in my vacuum, and sitting there in between uses as you wait for the bag to fill up, and then sucking more air through that- disgusting! I seriously love how far vacuums have come! Besides just being bagless, the Samsung UV700 offers a one-touch bagless dust bin that is simple to remove and empty. You can quickly open it with the push of a button, drop the contents into the trash and then pop it back into place and vacuum the next room. Plus, I love seeing how much stuff I have sucked up in each room!
Here is a little video so you can see some of those things up close in action:
Overall, I have to say that I’m pleased as peaches with the new Samsung UV7000. The only thing I noticed that I thought was a bit strange is it doesn’t allow you to select the height of your carpet which doesn’t make a huge difference except on larger debris that you may need to suck up with the detachable handheld vac instead. I am impressed with how much the Samsung UV7000 vacuum sucks up from my apparently clean carpets and with it’s ease of use.
