My Daughter’s Disney Themed Party

We had our first visit to Disney World a few years ago and we all loved it.  My husband loves theme parks just as much as the kids and it was a blast for the whole family.  When, I was given the opportunity by Disney Side Celebrations to host a Disney Themed Party and show my Disney Side, I knew that sounded like fun.

Disney Themed Party Ideas

Disney themed birthday party setup

First I got my Disney Side @Home Celebration kit in the mail filled with goodies like a Disney tablecloth, Disney napkins, Disney plates, Disney cups, and more.  That is when it was time for the Disney magic and party planning to begin!

If any of my fellow Disney lovers are looking for Disney themed party ideas, you should definitely check out #DisneySide inspiration.

I set up the Disney themed party basics first with the table being my centerpiece. I spread the Disney tablecloth, put out the cute Disney napkins, plates, and cups.  Then I put up the gorgeous Disney Mickey Mouse decorations.

Next on my list was to personalize the party decor a bit and add some Disney flair to my party refreshments and goodie bags.  For refreshments, I used Disney Mickey Mouse cookie cutters to cut out fun shapes from watermelon slices.   I used Disney cupcake holders to hold individual servings of potato chip so that they wouldn’t be too many dirty hands in the chip bowl!  I also made jello in the Mickey Mouse shapes.

Disney Themed Party Favor Bags

For party favor bags, we made cute little Minnie Mouse bags.  We used plan brown lunch bags and folded them over once we filled them with goodies.  We traced Minnie Mouse ears onto black construction paper.  We cut those out.  Then we used ribbons to make bows.   A stapler served to attach the Minnie Mouse ears and bows and seal the bag shut all in one punch.

We also did some fun Disney themed facepainting at the party. I will have to add in some pictures of that soon as well as a how to facepaint video!

Have you ever hosted a Disney themed party?  I’d love to hear your party ideas too. Send me a photo on social media @familyfocusblog or drop a link in the comments! We can’t wait to see your Disney Side!

I was contacted by Mom Select and offered the opportunity to host a Disney themed party. I did receive a Disney Side @Home Celebration kit in order to facilitate the party.
