We eat a lot of chicken in our house especially right now when the cost of chicken is so substantially less than beef and other meats.  It can get a little boring though so we like to have a lot of recipes on hand to change it up often.  We’re busy all the time though so those recipes usually need to be quick and easy to make. Here are some of our favorite quick easy chicken recipes that don’t skimp on the flavor.

September is National Chicken Month and while summer grilling is winding down, there are many healthy and delicious recipes for enjoying chicken this month.  Whether you’re looking for a quick and easy recipe for a week night or something for a party or get together, there’s a healthy chicken recipe here for you.

Easy and Simple Seasoned Chicken Taco Meat Recipe  

We love to make chicken taco meat and there really is no easier way to do it than with this recipe. Just throw the chicken breast into the slow cooker with some taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of chicken broth. It should take around 4 hours on high and 6 hours on low. Check internal temperature with a meat thermometer to ensure it has reached 165 degrees F and then it is done! Shred it with a fork and put into tortillas.
