Tera’s Whey Review- Natural Whey Protein

I just discovered Tera’s Whey and I love that they make their natural whey protein in a green factory with only the best ingredients. This is a high quality product that I feel good sharing with my kids. Whey is often used by body builders because it is the easiest type of protein to build muscle with. Whey is also a good source of protein for people who wish to decrease their meat consumption because of its cholesterol and fat content or vegetarians who wish to eliminate meat from their diet. Additionally, children, picky eaters or people who may not be getting adequate amounts of protein in their daily diet have a easy way to get protein with natural whey protein powder since it can easily be mixed into smoothies which tastes yummy!

Natural Whey Protein

Whey is valued for its high protein content, immune system strengthening properties, weight management properties and diabetes control properties, cardiovascular health effects and soothing effects on the gastrointestinal system or your gut. You can read more of the health benefits of whey protein here.

Tera’s Whey Review Of The Starter Kit

What makes Tera’s Whey different?
“We start with raw whey from artisan cheesemakers and family farmers, carefully concentrate it in our own green plant, sweeten it with low-glycemic stevia and add the highest quality, most flavorful natural ingredients; things like Fair Trade Dark Chocolate and Bourbon Vanilla. All of our fruits are real fruit extracts not flavor derivatives. When we say “natural ingredients” on our label, it means things like real vanilla. No fillers. No additives. Just completely natural, healthy whey protein.”

I was lucky enough to try Tera’s Whey Starter Kit. I initially planned on just using Tera’s natural whey protein to make smoothies to help my kiddos get more protein since it can be hard to get them to eat that much! But now that I am pregnant, I am using it for extra protein for myself too!

My Starter Kit came with a Bourbon Vanilla Whey 12 oz canister and 4 single serve pouches of Wolfberry, Yumberry, Acai, and Fair Trade Dark Chocolate. This is working out great great because if I am lazy I can just whip out a pouch and blend it with some milk and a little ice and it is yummy and easy. I like getting to try the flavors out too!

The Yumberry is very aptly named, by the way! It is also really great having the large vanilla canister since it is good by itself or easily mixed with fresh fruit. I have also tried mixing the natural whey protein with pineapple juice and fresh spinach to try to increase my green intake. Not bad!

If you would like to try Tera’s Whey for yourself, you can buy it at Whole Foods or shop  online at simplyteras.com. There is all kinds of great info on the site about the Whey Protein including fun recipes to try. Enjoy!

I was provided with the natural whey protein in the hopes that I would share my honest  opinions.  I received no monetary compensation and the opinions expressed are my own.
