Three Dares For Making Healthy Choices:

Healthy Breakfast Choices:
We have all heard how important breakfast is. We would never dream of sending our kids to school without breakfast and we should do the same for ourselves. Eating breakfast in the morning is an important part of starting your metabolism going again after a night’s sleep. Breakfast is important to making sure your body an brain have what they need to get going and function at their best.
A healthy breakfast should contain some fiber, some protein, and some fruit or veggies.
Here are few healthy breakfast choices just to give you some ideas:
*Oatmeal, nuts, and fresh fruit
*Nut butter and fruit breakfast wrap
*Eggs, whole wheat toast, and fresh fruit
*Gluten-Free Blueberry Tartlets
*Low-fat Greek yogurt with fruit and granola
*Green Smoothie

To tell the truth, a couple of my kids hate eating breakfast. I will have to start making smoothies again (I make a couple green smoothies). They love those healthy choices. I’m going grocery shopping today!

It’s a battle to get my kids to eat anything in the morning, too! I manage to get a bit into them, but it’s always a struggle, even though my girls love to eat things like oatmeal and yogurt. Just not for breakfast, evidently. 😉
